SUSTAINABILITY
With the aim of promoting a sustainable business culture, Euregio⁺ Alpine Venture Capital S.p.A. has adopted a Sustainability Policy to outline the principles embraced in the areas of environmental, social, and governance sustainability. Furthermore, the Company promotes environmental or social characteristics – or a combination of them – pursuant to Article 8 of Regulation (EU) 2019/2088, integrating sustainability risk assessment into its investment decisions.
To achieve this, the SICAF employs tools and actions aimed at ensuring compliance with these characteristics:
1. During the evaluation of investment opportunities, by verifying whether the Target Company has adopted a minimum set of corporate policies (e.g., regarding privacy, cybersecurity, diversity and inclusion, gender equality, workplace safety);
2. Upon finalizing the investment, by identifying and monitoring ESG KPIs that the Target Company must adhere to, based on its business model and the industry in which it operates.
